Position Overview:
A Habilitation Technician supports individuals with development disabilities in developing essential life skills, promoting independence, and improving overall quality of life. The role combines elements of skill development and teaching. Skill Development (Habilitation) Teach and reinforce life skills such as communication, social interaction, household tasks, budgeting, and community participation.
Implement habilitation goals outlined in individualized service plans.
Encourage independence through structured routines and positive reinforcement.
Maintain accurate daily logs, progress notes, and goal-tracking data.
Participate in team meetings to review client progress and update habilitation plans.
